Last Day of April

Today was an unusual day for me so I thought I'd share.

I woke up at 6:45am to take a shower. I did my hair and makeup as usual. Dropped Mayumi off to school at 8:40am. Went back home and cooked breakfast for my mom and John. Then John and I went to our 10:55am class Asian Roots & Culture. THEN.......This is the part where my day started to turn unusual.... After class, John and I drove to Palo Alto to eat at Togo's with Cathrine and then went to Cathrine's place (#1- I hardly ever drive to Palo Alto; #2- I've never ate at Togo's; and #3-I've never been to Cathrine's place before). Next, John dropped me off at Brian's house. Brian and I have talked about cleaning his walls before, and so I started removing his posters off his wall. I cleaned his wall with Lysol wipes and that basically took up my whole afternoon and evening. I just got done putting back some of the posters on his wall.... it looks neat now (or shall I say "organized?" hehe). Another thing that was unusual: my teacher cancelled class today. I was so excited when I read his memo online. So that was my day...I feel pretty productive.

I'm also planning John's Birthday Party/Barbeque/Pacquiao vs Hatton Fight for this Saturday, May 2. It's going to be F-U-N! I don't think John has ever had a birthday party in his life... how sad!!

Things to do in May:
> Pay off tuition - $100 left & then signup for next semester's classes
> Buy John's birthday gift (harty har har)
> Buy Mae's birthday gift
> Greet Carlos and JR on their birthday
> Buy Brian's birthday gift (harty har har)

New News - Part I

Friday, April 17th my younger brother John threw a BBQ at my house. Jerome's older sister, Michelle, marinated the chicken and it was super yummy! I was really surprised when my mom didn't mind us throwing a gathering at the house. My mom said, "No alcohol and no drugs!" lol. While they were cooking, Brian's sister Sheryll asked me to do her hair and makeup for a party bus she was going to. I did her hair and make-up. I lended her my green shoes and earrings. Ain't she pretty?? That was fun!

Saturday, April 18th Our friend Jeff threw a small gathering before he leaves for the Marines. Half the guys were playing poker while the other half played video games.

Monday, April 20th
I got a haircut after work. The hot weather inspired me to cut my hair. It's not new, it's the same cut I did last summer. Cathrine died my hair Black Cherry afterward (Thanks, Rine!).

Tuesday, April 21 Brian, Sheryll, John, Mayumi, and I took Neakella to the Giants vs Padres game to celebrate her birthday AND to see Pacquiao throw the first pitch. I will write more about this when I get the pictures from Sheryll's camera. It was a fun night :)

Money Day

Today I received my tax refund, state refund, my paycheck, AND a $100 mail-in rebate from T-mobile. It feels good to have money come at you all at once! I'm going to put half in my savings... and the rest for me to spend! Yess!

Milpitas Health & Fitness

One of my 2009 New Years Resolutions are to eat healthier and exercise regularly. For the past month I've been eating smaller portions, salads, sandwiches, fruits & vegetables, and drinking lots of water. I've cut down on junk food such as chips, candy, soda, and overall large portions. Last month John, Brian, and I joined the Milpitas Health and Fitness gym on Jacklin behind the Shell gasoline station. Wilson, Cuong, and Jerome are already members; it's fun going with them. It's turning out to be a good year for all of us. My goal is to get to 110 lbs, that means losing 30 pounds by the end of this year. Brian's goal is to improve his breathing by use of cardio workouts... poor boyfriend, he has asthma. Jerome's and John's goal is to lose weight and bulk up for the ladies. I know we can do it :)

John's positive, explicit, formal statement

I was originally supposed to take a picture of these flowers at school... and please don't make fun of me. Whenever a beautiful flower catches my attention, I have this need to take a picture of it knowing flowers die so quickly. I really do appreciate flowers at their best. And so... the moment I found out my camera was on video settings (Mayumi likes to record herself sometimes), I decided to interrogate John on our way to class. Enjoy!

Farewell, Xanga!

Dear Xanga,
You and I had so many memories together. You've allowed me to express my inner feelings, and some you've kept secret from this cruel world. I will surely miss you! But I've got to move on with my life and seek happiness elsewhere. I will definitely visit you when I need a reminder of how I used to be. Farewell!
