Oh man, oh man, oh man....my crazy, hectic Spring semester starts NEXT WEEK! I'm taking English 1B, Public Speaking, Statistics, Human Biology, and Stretch & Fitness. I think it's the Public Speaking that's making me so nervous. I can't hold off on this class any longer. Spring semester will either break or make me. It is my ticket to San Jose State. The question is: HOW BAD DO I WANT IT? I'm turning 24 next month and so in reality, I should've graduated by now. Again, HOW BAD DO I WANT THIS?
"Three things are essential: great doubt, great faith, and great perseverance."
LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!1

Happy 6th Year Anniversary, Brian!
Within the past six years with you, I’ve learned that love is a verb and not just a feeling. Thank you for loving me, sacrificing for me, listening to me, understanding me, helping me grow, and appreciating me. You’ve helped me find security, guidance, wisdom, and power within myself. I truly look forward to more and more years with you. I love you soooo much Brian, and Happy 6th Year Anniversary!
I dedicate the song "The Higher Me" by Stacy Dudero & Robbie Ocampo to you.
LYRICS:
whoOoa
Darlin, I can't contain it anymore
You make me feel good inside
You bring out my better side
Won't you stay awhile
And spend some time with me
Darlin, I can't explain it anymore
I feel God in you
In every little thing you do
The Spirit lives so freely in your heart
(Chorus)
Cause you set apart
Your presence brings to me
The breath of love
Within my heart
You take away the fear
And help me fly high
Right by my side
You see me rise
And inspire me
To be the higher me
Baby, I can't control it anymore
You're the only one
Who makes me laugh
And bring me to tears
When I'm not even emotional
Baby, baby, baby I can't believe it
You're the first to know my worth
To see my worth
I'm so thankful that I have you in my life
(Chorus) 2x
WhoOoa............

New news!
Ever since I quit Nine West, my days have been slow and I've been feeling super, extremely lazy. I WANT TO DO SOMETHING~! But I gotta remind myself that I should be thankful for this slowness because spring semester is going to be insane in the membrane.
I started my Online Psychology 12, Human Growth & Development class last week. It's alright... this class requires a lot of reading since all the lessons are compact into one month. I have a midterm every Thursdays and I get 2 hours to take it. I got a B on my first midterm (yayer).

I'm addicted to Robo Defense on this phone, lol. I love this android phone!
I usually stop at 3rd bench. Couldn't do it without my supporters!

Happy New Year!
I'm truly thankful that I had a blessed year. I had a year filled with peace, love, and happiness (I mean, how often does someone say that and mean it?). I accomplished my personal goals that were once thought to be unattainable. Not only that, I am continuing meaningful goals that were initiated in 2009 and going into 2010. I will persevere. I will stay determined. I will make mistakes. I will grow. I will learn. I will be better :)
Happy New Year to everyone!

Winter Break
I'm so glad I don't have homework on the back of my mind anymore... I'm not used to this feeling. And I still cannot believe the semester's over. In August, my inner cynic doubted my ability to balance full-time school and part-time work but I proved myself wrong and that's a huge victory for me.
Lately, I've been thinking about my 2010 New Year's Resolutions. I want to create one because I want to accomplish lots of things this year. But for sure I'd like to be more involved in community activities, such as running for a good cause (still thinking about joining the January 1st, 5k run!), donating blood, or helping kids learn how to read... stuff like that. I would also like to find Vegan Filipino restaurants and see for myself if it's possible to eat Filipino food without meat. Also, I want to conquer certain phobias next year. Three things I fear: heights, spiders, and public speaking... hopefully I'll free myself from one of them. I would also like to learn more about the Culture and History of the Philippines. I feel like if I had a better understanding of my roots, I'll appreciate it more. I'm too Americanized. Trying new things is going to be big for me in 2010. The sky's the limit!
New topic: Nine West. My manager finally went on maternity leave. I'm really excited for her! I'm hoping her baby will be born around (or on) my birthday. On the other hand, the staff isn't doing so well without her. We have two new associates who are Assistant Manager 1 and 2. One of them, apparently, is finding it difficult to blend in with us. It is hard to be the new person, I don't blame her. She has her way of running things, and we have our old way of running things. I truly believe it's all just a huuuuuuge misunderstanding between associates. Everyone has to just suck it up and run with it. I like new ideas as long as it's going to improve and benefit everyone in the long run. My only responsibility right now: train the new associates before I leave.

Fall '09 Semester
....is officially over! Last Saturday, I had my online Psychology final. Monday, I had my online English 1A final. Tuesday, I had my American Government final. And today, I had my U.S. History final. I was studying nonstop everyday since last Friday. Now that finals are over, it feels so good to be done with this semester. I'm proud of myself for handling four classes and a job. I'll admit, there were many, many, many, many times where I had to choose between homework or fun, and silly me, I chose fun over homework! Next semester, it's not going to be like that. I can't afford to choose fun over homework.
